Become a Pipelayer Helper with Volker Stevin in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and play a vital role in supporting underground utility projects while ensuring high safety standards.

Volker Stevin is seeking dedicated Pipelayer Helpers to assist in building and maintaining essential underground infrastructure. Candidates should have a commitment to safety and a willingness to learn, making them an integral part of a collaborative team. No prior pipe laying experience is necessary; however, a drive to work in underground utilities is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced pipelayers in installing underground utilities

• Follow safety guidelines during excavation tasks

• Learn to read grades and operate survey equipment

• Collaborate with a hands-on team to meet project goals

• Engage in training opportunities to enhance skills

Requirements:

• Willingness to learn and grow in the pipe laying field

• Commitment to safety and teamwork

• Basic understanding of construction processes is a plus

• Valid Class 5 Operator’s License preferred

• Ability to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing
