Responsibilities
- Answer and respond to incoming customer calls and inquiries; respond to correspondence received via e‑mail and/or fax.
- Verify the accuracy of packing slips for orders being processed.
- Perform quality control to ensure the product pulled matches the customer’s order.
- Assist customers and troubleshoot questions, issues, complaints, or inquiries related to products, services sold, repairs, and order status; often requiring extensive research and interaction with various departments to resolve problems.
- Handle shipping and track customer shipments; work with multiple carriers via phone, internet, etc.
- Perform other general office duties as required, such as receptionist duties, order entry, collections, or quality‑control checking.
- Participate in special projects related to the department when requested.
- PC literate and familiar with the Internet.
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
- Good aptitude for solving customer‑service issues.
- Professional telephone and e‑mail correspondence skills.
- Team player capable of building rapport with the Support Service team, sales representatives, and other Operations staff.
- Multitask oriented.
- Enthusiastic about customer service and committed to genuine customer satisfaction.
- Operational knowledge of major office equipment.
- Available to work Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
- Reports directly to the General Manager.
- Background checks are part of the hiring process; may also include a Motor Vehicle Check.
