The Department

The Kinesiology and Health Sciences department is part of the School of Health and is located in the main campus building in Grande Prairie. Within the department we offer a Kinesiology Diploma, Bachelor of Kinesiology (UT), and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (UT).

The Role

The Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences is seeking one or more part-time sessional instructors to join our academic team. The successful candidates will contribute to high-quality undergraduate teaching, curriculum development, and student mentorship within the program. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about personal health and fitness, exercise prescription, and yoga instruction. This position will include in person classes during the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 semesters.

This is a part-time sessional (leave replacement) position from August 15, 2026 to April 30, 2027. There may also be the opportunity to teach a part-time sessional course for the Spring 2027 session from approximately May 1, 2027 to June 30, 2027. Please note that instruction will be in-person and this is not a remote position.
