Position: ELMWORTH SCHOOL Educational Assistant Role
ELMWORTH SCHOOL is seeking a temporary part-time Educational Assistant to support students in a dynamic academic setting. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about enhancing educational experiences.

As part of the Peace Wapiti Public School Division, this position offers 15 hours per week under a certificated teacher's supervision. Applicants should ideally possess an Educational Assistant Diploma and have prior experience working in classroom environments. The role demands collaboration and the ability to handle physical tasks and personal care effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist certificated teacher in the classroom

• Aid students with personal care and learning activities

• Work collaboratively with educational staff

• Create a positive atmosphere for learners

• Availability to meet outside of regular hours as needed

Requirements:

• Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent

• Preferred Educational Assistant Diploma

• Relevant experience in organized child settings

• CPR/First Aid certification is beneficial

• Capacity to assist with physical tasks and personal care
