Position

Peace Wapiti Academy School, part of the Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD), is seeking a Temporary Part Time Teacher (0.49 FTE, Band) who has high professional standards and is dedicated to personalizing learning to meet the needs of our students.

The school serves approximately 6,100 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 across 34 schools in the Grande Prairie/Spirit River region.

• Bachelor of Education degree
• Current Alberta Teachers Certificate
• Aspire for excellence in all competencies of the Teaching Quality Standard
• Commitment to a research‑driven professional practice and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
• Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities is an asset

A current Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Check), dated within the last six months, is a condition of employment.
