Behavior Complexity Teacher - Probationary

Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools covers a geographical area that includes the regional communities of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Spirit River. We are a team of 600 staff who provide quality teaching and learning experiences for approximately 5400 students.

Ideal Candidate Qualities

Experience working with students with complex needs

Works well within a team environment (Behavior Consultant, Psychologist, Educational Assistant)

Strong formal and informal leadership skills.

Competently provide instruction to students.

Teach the courses of study and education programs that are prescribed, approved or authorized pursuant to the Education Act.

Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in education.

Alberta Teaching Certificate (or eligible to apply).

This position is working with students grade 7-12 in various schools.

A recent Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check will be required if you are the successful applicant.
