Whispering Ridge Community School is looking for a Temporary Part-Time Educational Assistant for six hours a week. You will work under a certificated teacher and assist children in an organized classroom setting. A strong desire to engage with students and effectively assist with personal care tasks is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in classroom activities and student engagement
• Assist with personal care and physical tasks as needed
• Collaborate effectively as part of a teaching team
• Maintain a positive learning environment for students
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary
• Educational Assistant Diploma is preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
• Experience with children preferred in classroom settings
• Current Criminal Record Check required
