The Sinclair Montney Development
Paramount has sanctioned development of its Montney natural gas play play is a high-rate, low-cost natural gas project in the Grande Prairie area. The first phase of development is designed for 50,000 boe/d, with construction beginning in 2026 and firm sales egress commencing in Q4 2027. This project represents a multi-decade cornerstone for the company.
About this Opportunity
We are seeking four highly skilled and experienced Control Room Operators to oversee the daily operations of the Sinclair Gas Plant. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that begins with a focused operational readiness phase based out of the Grande Prairie office, transitioning full-time to the Sinclair Gas Plant control room in Q2 2027. Reporting to the Plant Foreman, the ideal candidate will play a key role in planning, design reviews, commissioning, start-up, and operation of the facility.
You will be responsible for managing real-time process controls, troubleshooting, and optimizing plant systems from the board, and serving as the primary communications point for operators.
Schedule
: 7 days on, 7 days off (7&7) cross-shift rotation (14&14 open for consideration), working day shift only until transitioning to site and starting alternating day and night hitches (12-hour shifts).

Candidates must reside within a 100km radius of the Sinclair plant site while on shift. Camp housing/accommodations are available nearby for personnel during their scheduled shift rotation.
