3D CAD Systems Administrator

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the 3D model by setting up AVEVA MARINE / E3D / HEXAGON SMART3D Enterprise system for projects, ensuring compliance with company and project procedures within the stipulated time.
• Set up, maintain, and provide continuous technical support for AVEVA MARINE / E3D / HEXAGON SMART3D systems across various projects.
• Develop and implement project‑specific catalogues and specifications for piping, pipe supports, structural, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines in AVEVA MARINE / E3D / HEXAGON SMART3D, and create project‑specific drawing templates in the drafting module.
• Monitor the integrity of the 3D model global work share database, ensuring regular transfer of information from the 3D model to other IT systems functions correctly.
• Develop project‑specific modelling procedures and set up the 3D model accordingly.
• Provide regular training to multi‑discipline end users of the 3D modelling tools based on client specifications and company standards.
• Collaborate closely with discipline leads to understand their requirements and deliver on‑time development or customization needed to automate tasks, drawing templates, macros, isometrics, and interface to other systems.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and, if necessary, collaborate with the software vendor’s technical support to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Be familiar with workflows of all IT systems implemented in the project, providing proactive input to IT personnel and highlighting potential technical challenges in advance.
• Coordinate actively with overseas offices for projects executed from multiple locations, attend meetings, and communicate effectively. Be flexible and ready to assume additional roles such as CAD Systems coordinator or D‑Eng Lead as required.

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CAD Systems Administration for Shipbuilding, Oil & Gas, and Offshore projects.
• Experience with AVEVA MARINE / Hexagon Smart3D and in‑depth knowledge of all relevant modules.
• Familiarity with the FEED and Detailed Engineering phases of offshore projects.

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:15 pm;
Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
