Lithography Process Optimization & Defectivity Improvement
Project ObjectiveThe intern will be assigned to the front‑end‑of‑line engineering team in Lithography Process. The intern needs to shadow engineers in cleanroom operations and gain familiarity with lithography tools and workflows and conduct wafer inspections using DI and CDSEM tools. The intern is then expected to perform quantitative & qualitative analyses to improve quality, productivity and/or cost under the guidance of the supervisor and senior members of the team.
The role is versatile and requires understanding of different technical concepts, people & processes to make impactful contributions.
Perform level 1/level 2 investigations for SPC/SEC/YDD/ET issues related to yield and defectivity issues and propose solutions that can be implemented in real‑world situations.
Support implementation of process changes to expedite realization of ROI.
Execute exploratory projects, including AI/ML‑based defect classification.
Optimize workflows for existing Lithography business processes.
Shadow engineers in cleanroom operations and gain familiarity with lithography tools and workflows and conduct wafer inspections using DI and CDSEM tools.
Perform quantitative & qualitative analyses to improve quality, productivity and/or cost under the guidance of the supervisor and senior members of the team.
Requires understanding of different technical concepts, people & processes to make impactful contributions.
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
Required QualificationsActively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science or any other related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
* This application is for students undertaking a 20-24 week credit‑bearing internship from June 2026 onwards.
