About the RoleYou will be part of the Product Engineering Department, driving innovation as the company transitions to a Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) where 3D CAD models are the master data across the organization.
Responsibilities- Develop technical solutions for global MBD processes to accelerate product development workflows from design to manufacturing.
- Promote the company-wide transition toward a Model-Based Enterprise (MBE).
- Develop MBD (Model-Based Definition) standards and GD&T best practices, focusing on downstream usability.
- Create and maintain MBD and PDM macros and add-ins, including testing and issue resolution.
- Develop, test, and debug MBD and PDM helpdesk AI agents.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, including AI tools within CAD and MBD domains.
- Deliver MBD training and provide global helpdesk support, including troubleshooting and user guidance.
- Develop and update MBD training materials, templates, standards, and guides for Product Engineering, cross‑functional teams, and suppliers.
- Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of your work and pursue personal and professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Applied Science, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Solid Works with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Coding experience with Solid Works API (VBA) and Visual Studio ( or C#).
- Experience in mechanical product design and development, including applied GD&T.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Effective prioritization and time‑management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong assets: UX design and research experience, data‑analysis tools (Excel, SQL), PDM or PLM systems experience, and CSWP certification.
- Compensation: $75,000 to $90,000 annually.
