Plant Operator – Grande Prairie, AB  Our client, a well established oil and gas producer, is seeking a Plant Operator to support operations at a facility located north of Grande Prairie.
This position operates on an 8/6 rotation and requires candidates to be local to the Grande Prairie area, as camp accommodations and housing are not available.
Qualifications & Requirements   Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate (or higher)
Previous oil and gas plant experience
Valid H2S Alive and Standard First Aid certifications
Comfortable working in H2S environments and wearing respiratory protection when required
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Robust focus on safety and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to follow direction
