Plant Operator

Join a major oil and gas company as a Plant Operator in Grande Prairie. This camp-based position requires a valid 4th class power engineering certificate and offers a 7/7 rotational schedule.

The role seeks candidates with 3-5 years of plant operations experience. You will operate in a sour area, handling H2S gas, and must possess Standard First Aid and H2S Alive certifications. Strong attention to safety and the ability to work autonomously are essential in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate plant equipment under 12-hour shift rotations

• Monitor and optimize plant processes for safety

• Collaborate with team members in both independent and team settings

• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations

• Maintain records and logs as required

Requirements:

• Valid 4th class power engineering certificate

• 3-5 years of relevant plant operations experience

• Standard First Aid & H2S Alive certifications

• Clean driving abstract and pass drug tests

• Comfortable working with H2S gas
