Your Opportunity:

EHS-Alberta is seeking a Benefit Eligible Casual Clinical Educators (CE) to join our Learning & Development (L&D) team within the Clinical Excellence portfolio. Reporting to a provincial Manager, CEs influence culture and practice by supporting paramedics through education, mentorship, and simulation. Working across diverse rural and regional settings, you will travel to service areas including Peace River, Slave Lake, Rainbow Lake, La Crete, and High Level—making a meaningful impact on staff development across the North Zone.

CEs design, deliver, and evaluate curriculum using adult learning principles, simulation technology, and blended or online methods. You facilitate classroom sessions and guide learners through standardized courses such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPR, annual training days, and Return-to-Work orientation. Success relies on your ability to keep content consistent, engaging, and relevant for each group. Beyond structured courses, you will develop custom learning plans, provide one-on-one and group coaching, and evaluate outcomes linking training effectiveness to patient care, system performance, and quality improvement.

You demonstrate leadership by mentoring peers, setting professional standards, and building a positive learning culture. You also contribute to research and innovation, share expertise through presentations or publication, and manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills, adaptability, and effective use of technology including simulation systems, learning management platforms, and A/V tools.
