WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, including pumps, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Perform precision alignments on shafts, couplings, and rotating equipment using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and diagnose root causes to minimize downtime.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute accurate installations and repairs.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as welding machines, grinders, and hoists.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in industrial environments.
  • Deliver the X-FACTOR experience through excellence, expertise and extraordinary service.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical repair.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Proficiency in precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, laser alignment tools).
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills are an asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and supervise apprentices
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
