Part-Time Maintenance Technician - Grande Prairie, AB

$33 per hour. Mileage reimbursement provided. Approximately 1.5 hours of work bi-monthly on a flexible schedule. Position is not eligible for relocation and requires eligibility to work in Canada without visa sponsorship. Night, weekend, and holiday work may be required.

Part‑time Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining massage chairs at the Planet Fitness location in the Grande Prairie area. Duties include repair, maintenance, and documentation using the company app. The role is as‑needed (on‑call) and is not eligible for relocation.

• Inspect and perform maintenance on massage chairs.
• Complete and submit all necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain a database to record daily tasks, equipment meter readings, and service history using the canvas app on a phone.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum 3 years in a customer service role.
• Preferably 3 years of field‑based product support experience.
• Basic mechanical and diagnostic aptitude, including root‑cause analysis.
• Technical degree or similar preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong computer, troubleshooting, communication, customer service, prioritizing, and time‑management skills.
• Enthusiastic, self‑starter, dedicated, detail‑oriented, and motivated to perform independently.

• Lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height.
• Push or pull 75–100 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity are required for mechanical and electrical repairs.
