Position: MOULDING SUPERVISOR

1. Production Supervision

  • Leadand supervise daily injection moulding operations to meet production schedules for automotive components.
  • Allocate manpower and oversee machine operations across multiple moulding lines.
  • Ensure strict adherence to productivity targets, cycle times, and output efficiency.
2. Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all parts produced meet automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance on in-process checks and non-conformance issues.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for any quality deviations or customer complaints.
3. Moulding Process Control
  • Oversee mould changeovers, machine start-up, shutdown, and parameter settings.
  • Optimize machine settings to improve product consistency and reduce scrap.
  • Troubleshoot process or equipment issues to minimize downtime.
4. Team Leadership
  • Supervise and coach a team of moulding technicians, operators, and material handlers.
  • Conduct training on safe machine operation, work instructions, and 5S practices.
  • Evaluate team performance, manage shift handovers, and ensure discipline.
5. Maintenance Coordination
  • Ensure daily machine maintenance checks are performed.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance on injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
6. Safety & Workplace Management
  • Enforce safety regulations and PPE usage at all times.
  • Promote a clean and organized work environment (5S, Kaizen).
  • Report and assist in investigating workplace incidents or near-misses.
📋 Requirements:
  • 5 years of injection moulding experience, preferably in automotive or precision plastic components
    .
  • Familiar with IATF 16949
    , PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and other automotive quality tools.
  • Proficient in setting up machines such as Arburg, Sumitomo, Fanuc, or similar.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based production environment.
