*** 2.0   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
**** 2.1   POSITION SUMMARY
** We're looking for a 1st or 2nd period Steamfitter-Pipefitter apprentice to join our Completions team. Looking for the right person to assist assembling and preparing pressure vessels and piping for hydrotesting. All work is in our shop, and you'll work under journeyperson supervision. It's a good fit for an apprentice who wants steady hours, consistent mentorship and solid experience with pressure equipment built to code, without rotations or camp work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Assemble pressure vessels, skids and process piping from P&IDs and general arrangement drawings
* Fit up flanged, threaded, and other mechanical connections, including picking the right gasket and bolt and checking alignment
* Torque bolts in the correct sequence and to the specified values, and record the results on torque reports
* Set up hydrotests and help run them: install blinds and test fittings, fill and vent, watch the gauges and hold pressure, then drain and dry
* Check incoming parts, valves and fittings against the drawings and material lists
* Rig and handle materials safely with overhead cranes, forklifts and hand rigging (training provided)
* Fill out job checklists and quality control records accurately
* Help prepare units for paint, buildings and E&I
* Keep the work area clean and organized, and look after tools and equipment
* Follow all Ener Corp safety procedures and take part in hazard assessments and toolbox talks## Qualifications
