Position: Full-Time Community Engagement Coordinator
Contribute to Mission Thrift Store Grande Prairie’s mission as a full-time Community Engagement Coordinator. Focus on nurturing volunteer relationships and enhancing community outreach.

In this essential role, you will lead volunteer recruitment, training, and retention efforts while promoting community partnerships. Your leadership will empower volunteers, ensuring their contributions are recognized and valued, ultimately fostering a thriving local environment around the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, onboard, and train volunteers for the store

• Develop volunteer mentorship and appreciation programs

• Maintain comprehensive records using Better Impact

• Communicate with volunteers through regular check-ins

• Foster partnerships with local organizations and churches

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience in retail settings

• At least 2 years in volunteer leadership roles

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License
