Treatment of all of the required vegetation within a designated area.Wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Maintain the spray pack, keep the nozzle out of the dirt and hoses from catching on branches, sticks etc.Walk through logged areas while pumping the backpack and waving the wand.Sufficiently to maintain pressure and achieve good coverage.Follow the direction of the supervisor, crewleader and mixer.Layout boundaries requiredSpace off flagged boundaries and riparian areas.Waiting for ideal weather conditions.Work areas are assigned by the client over a large geographic region. Frequent travel will be expected.Other duties as required.Experience and Knowledge Expectations:
The physical ability to perform highly demanding roleThe ability to carry 50+ pounds on your backThe repeated use of pumping arm and the repeated swing of spray armAbility to walk rapidly over debris on uneven terrainPreference may be given to candidates holding a valid S100/S100A certification, or equivalentThe ability to work well individually and as part of a teamThe ability to adapt quickly to changing conditionsDecision making skillsMap reading skillsPre-employment drug testing required for safety sensitive positions.Willingness to work, enjoy, and live in a remote settingPreparation for work in all weather conditionsCommitment till the end of September at a minimum.A good work ethic, a positive attitude & willingness to contributeJoin Our Team:
