Casual Part Time Mechanical Inspector

Exciting opportunity with Intertek seeking a Casual Part Time Mechanical Inspector in Grande Prairie, AB. Engage in high-quality inspections and audits while traveling for various assignments.

You will be tasked with conducting thorough inspections to ensure all materials and equipment adhere to client specifications and industry standards. This role features at least 25% travel, with a goal to maintain rigorous quality control through visual inspections and testing. Your background in mechanical testing and nondestructive techniques will be essential to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections/audits and check for conformance

• Review details in material test reports

• Document all inspection activities electronically

• Evaluate quality procedures across projects

• Conduct inspection visits as outlined in project plans

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in vendor inspections necessary

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Clear understanding of procurement and fabrication processes

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

• Basic familiarity with industry standards and codes
