Job Description
New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Deli Team member at our Trader Ridge Food Store in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

- Provide an excellent customer experience
- Prepare a wide variety of deli meats, cheeses, party trays, fresh salads, deli sandwiches and hot and cold entrees
- Ensure all deli products are accurately priced,andproper rotation is maintained in the coolers and retail area
- Ensure that all deli products are properly displayed, covered, stocked and labeled
- Ensure excellent food quality, quantity, freshness and presentation
- Execute activities related to store merchandising initiatives to offer customers additional products and services (e.g., special sale items)
- Perform additional duties as required
Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.
Who you are:- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Enthusiastic approach to work
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required
- Availability to work on a very flexible schedule (morning and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends)
