Front-End Supervisor - Food Store

Position: Front-End Supervisor - Downtown Food Store
New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Front-End Supervisor at our Downtown Food Store in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

What you’ll do:

Provide an excellent customer experience

Provide leadership and directions to the cashiers

Resolve customers’ queries and concerns in a friendly and informed manner

Assist with the daily store opening and closing procedures including cash balancing operations and sales reconciliation

Assist with paperwork, scheduling, and other supervisory tasks to support the Front-End Team Leader

Ensure that store merchandise is properly displayed, stocked and labeled

Ensure compliance of check-out areas with health and safety regulations and maintain the store standards of cleanliness

Other duties, as assigned

Who you are and what you have:

Enthusiastic approach to work

Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and customer service skills

Must be responsible and possess great leadership skills

Retail supervisory experience is an asset

Practical working knowledge of daily retail operations

Able to work independently and in a team

Availability to work on a very flexible schedule (Morning and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends)
