Asset Protection Specialist

Protect assets and enhance safety at New Horizon Co-op's Downtown Food Store in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Monitor locations, conduct audits, and train staff on theft prevention practices.

New Horizon Co-op seeks an Asset Protection Specialist dedicated to securing multiple store locations. You will engage in monitoring CCTV footage, responding to incidents, and driving the Community Cruiser to support local needs. This role requires strong observation skills and offers opportunities to make a community impact through asset protection initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor multiple store locations for theft and safety issues

• Conduct compliance audits for loss prevention

• Assist in asset protection investigations with CCTV review

• Respond to incidents related to safety and theft

• Provide training on theft prevention to staff

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 AB driver's license and clean abstract

• Experience in security or loss prevention settings

• Bondable with strong observation skills

• Must lift up to 50 lbs for patrol duties

• Clear communication skills with LPF Certification
