Position: Asset Protection Role at New Horizon Co-op
Enhance safety as an Asset Protection Specialist at New Horizon Co-op's Downtown Food Store in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Monitor theft, conduct audits, and support community service initiatives.

In this vital role, you will address theft, conduct compliance audits, and ensure safety across multiple store locations. You will manage CCTV investigations and train staff in theft prevention strategies. Additionally, your work will extend to assisting the community through mobile support initiatives, such as driving the Community Cruiser.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee theft and safety issues at all locations

• Conduct comprehensive audits for compliance

• Monitor CCTV footage for asset protection

• Respond to theft, spills, and other incidents

• Train employees on effective theft prevention techniques

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 AB driver’s license with clean record

• Bondable with experience in security or customer service

• Excellent observation and response capabilities

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws

• LPF Certification is highly desirable
