Protective Services Officer

Serve as a Protective Services Officer II with Alberta Health Services in Grande Prairie, ensuring safety for all patients, visitors, and staff. This full-time role focuses on security enforcement, risk assessment, and customer service.

As a Protective Services Officer II, you will provide protective services, monitor violence, enforce statutes, and manage security risks while maintaining positive public relations. This role requires effective interaction with various populations, ensuring a secure environment conducive to healthcare delivery. You will also support facility departments while participating in policy reviews and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and intervene in violent situations proactively

• Enforce federal, provincial, and municipal laws

• Conduct asset loss prevention and investigations

• Prepare court documents and secure evidence

• Serve as first responder to critical events

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Active Community Peace Officer eligibility

• Complete Community Peace Officer Induction Training

• Valid Class 5 driver's license

• Pass Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation
