Position: Security and Asset Protection at New Horizon
New Horizon Co-op is hiring an Asset Protection Specialist in Grande Prairie, Alberta to enhance security and minimize loss. This position promotes community safety and supports effective training for team members.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring theft and safety across store locations. You'll conduct regular audits and respond promptly to incidents. Your experience in security or customer service will be essential in providing the best support. Additionally, you will assist law enforcement as necessary while contributing to community outreach with the Community Cruiser.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple store locations for theft prevention

• Conduct compliance audits for loss prevention

• Monitor CCTV for asset protection investigations

• Respond to safety and theft incidents at locations

• Keep thorough incident reports and communicate effectively

Requirements:

• Clean Class 5 AB driver’s license and bondable

• Strong observation and communication skills

• Experience in security or loss prevention

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform patrols

• Available for flexible scheduling
