Asset Protection Expert

Become an Asset Protection Specialist with New Horizon Co-op in Grande Prairie, Alberta, where you'll safeguard our stores and community. This role emphasizes theft prevention and incident response.

As an integral member of our team, you will monitor various locations for safety and compliance with loss prevention measures. Your duties will include conducting audits, reviewing CCTV footage, and training staff on security practices. This position also supports community initiatives through the Community Cruiser, distributing vital resources for the unhoused.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor store locations to prevent safety issues

• Conduct audits for compliance and loss prevention

• Assist in asset protection investigations

• Respond to theft or safety incidents promptly

• Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 AB driver's license with a clean record

• Must possess strong observation skills

• Background in security or customer service

• Knowledge of relevant liquor and tobacco regulations

• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and patrol locations
