The Opportunity  Portland Tractor Inc. is looking for a  Shipper/Receive r to join our team in  Grand Prairie, Alberta . As the Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for all the shipping and receiving of parts in our warehouse.
As the Shipper/Receiver your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing shipping documents including BOL’s, packing lists, and custom invoices
Responding to requests from the Sales team
Loading shipments to carrier trucks
Scheduling shipments through various courier sites
Tracking all orders in transit
Maintaining parts and supplies and receiving parts and machine lots
Perform the necessary lifting and handling of materials as required
Processing returns
Required

Skills & Qualifications  The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
Valid driver's license
Previous experience operating a forklift or a valid forklift operator ticket is an asset
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to learn new tasks quickly and adapt to changing priorities
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
A commitment to follow all safe work procedures

The base pay range for this role is: $19.00 to $28.56 per hour, depending on experience.
This is an onsite role based in  Grand Prairie, Alberta .
