Weight Room Supervisor - Fall

NOTE:
This position is for the  school year. The salary will be based on the  salary schedule which is not yet approved by the Board of Education. The salary listed is based on the current year's salary schedule.

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director

SUPERVISES: Student Athletes

JOB GOAL: Weight room supervisors are charged with the responsibility of working in conjunction with the activities director and high school varsity head coaches to implement the vision and strategic plan of the athletic department.

Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations include but are not limited to:

• Knows and follows all policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the MSHSAA
• Knows and follows all policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the conference and the Grandview C-4 School District
• Adheres to the athletic department's "Coaches" Core Values
• Meets with the activities director when requested
• Meets all requirements to serve as a weight room supervisor
• Attends all scheduled coaches' meetings, trainings, and professional development
• Assists the activities director and the high school head varsity coaches in implementing and supervising the strength and conditioning program's instructional and training plan that teaches and prepares student-athletes both mentally and physically
• Provides proper supervision to student-athletes at ALL times
• Locks and secures athletic facilities and locker rooms after each use
• Maintains professionalism at all times

Duration: 2.5 months - June, July and part of August.
