High School Pass Program Teacher

Responsibilities- Help migrant students recover and earn missing academic credits to stay on track for graduation.
- Provide personalized instruction, support, and guidance to help migrant students understand the material, complete coursework, and achieve their educational goals.
- Pay: $45.00 per hour or per diem, whichever is lower
- Supplemental Contract
- Working days: 4 days per week
- Hours per day: 2 hours
- Temporary for the school year
- Education:
Bachelors from an accredited college or university in a job‑related area. - Licenses/Certificates/Registration:
Must have a Washington State Teaching Certificate. Must meet WA State Certification Criteria. - Minimum qualifications:
Relates well with students, parents and peers. Must have excellent classroom control. Willingness and ability to work in a team environment. Willingness and ability to work at district and building level in developing curriculum. An enthusiastic, creative and resourceful motivator of students. Willingness to work with students outside the classroom environment, e.g., club advisor, class advisor, etc. Present a neat, clean, professional appearance at all times.
Must be goal‑oriented (long range and short range). Spanish‑speaking ability is preferred.

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard‑free environment.
