- Assess potential emergency situations on the bus and within loading and unloading zones to protect the well‑being of passengers.
- Assist students with special needs during transport, including safe loading and unloading from buses in both emergency and normal situations.
- Instruct students to enforce rules, regulations, and maintain safety.
- Monitor students to prevent distractions to the driver and injuries to themselves or other students/passengers.
- Salary: $19.25 – $24.52 per hour (depending on experience)
- Working days: 5 days per week
- Hours per day: up to 1 hour

The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling, and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard‑free environment.
