High School 21st​/Afterschool Program Teacher

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work with identified struggling students who would benefit from small group assistance during guided independent reading/math practice and/or with tutorials.
• Participate in all training(s) related to the components of the support you will be implementing.
• Assist in administering pre- and post- assessments, as appropriate.
• Work with 21st Century specialists and site supervisor to implement 21st Century programming.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s from an accredited college or university in a job‑related area.
• Licenses/Certificates/Registration:
  Must have a Washington State Teaching Certificate and meet WA State Certification Criteria.
• Minimum qualifications:
  
  Relates well with students, parents and peers; excellent classroom control; willingness and ability to work in a team environment and at district and building levels; enthusiastic, creative and resourceful; willing to work with students outside the classroom; present a neat, clean, professional appearance; goal‑oriented (short and long term).

• Salary: $45.00 per hour or per diem, whichever is lower.
• Supplemental Contract.

• Working days: 4 days per week.
• Hours per day: 3 hours.
• Temporary for the 2025–2026 school year.
