Job Description
We are seeking a skilled project estimator to join our Grand Rapids Team. The role involves overseeing all aspects of the estimating process to ensure timely and accurate completion of estimates. The position supports projects in retail and box store construction and requires commercial construction knowledge. The estimator will streamline the process by selecting subcontractors and materials, with 95% of the firm’s business being competitive bid.
Responsibilities- Send out bids and proposals to clients
- Qualify subcontractors
- Set and review estimates
- Understand and read blueprints
- Conduct material and quantity take-offs
- Collaborate closely with project managers to assemble estimates

Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of commercial blueprints
- Personable with site and office members
- 1+ years in the construction industry
- Ability to outline bids
- Experience with onscreen takeoff programs (e.g., plan grid, Bluebeam)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wyoming, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.27/hr.
