Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement new automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
- Conduct commissioning, testing, and validation of new and modified automation equipment.
- Optimize existing automation systems to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Provide technical support and resolve complex issues related to automation hardware and software.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for automation systems and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and integrate automation solutions.
- Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000) and HMI/SCADA development.
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems, sensors, actuators, and industrial networking protocols.
- Experience with robotics, motion control systems, and/or industrial vision systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex automation issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Proficiency in industrial robot programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.
- Knowledge of industrial data historians (e.g., OSIsoft PI) and data analytics tools.
- Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity best practices.
