Financial Analyst - Grandville Area

Salary Range: $71,000 - $105,000 depending on experience

• Conduct detailed cost analysis of production processes, materials, and labor to identify efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning specific to manufacturing operations.
• Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead) against standard costs and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, performance dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing management.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests for new machinery and plant upgrades, performing ROI and payback period analysis.
• Monitor and analyze inventory valuation, turns, and obsolescence to optimize working capital.
• Support the month-end close process by ensuring accurate cost accounting entries and reconciliations.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial reporting and data extraction.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data and identify cost efficiencies within a production environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis).
• Proficiency with ERP systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics AX/365).
• Familiarity with operational metrics and KPIs relevant to manufacturing (e.g., OEE, yield, scrap rates).
• Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies and their financial impact.
