About this role

As a Registered Dietician Nutritionist, you will make a difference in access to healthy food and advance food as medicine initiatives at Meals on Wheels Western Michigan.

• Lead the Medically Tailored Meals initiative as defined by the Food is Medicine Coalition.
• Perform nutrition assessments for Medicaid Health Plans.
• Provide nutrition counseling to clients as needed or required.
• Perform nutrition analysis of meals and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Approve all menus.
• Develop nutrition education materials and newsletter.
• Lead the home delivered meal assessment process and team.
• Work closely with our Executive Chef to develop outstanding, flavorful meals that will promote health and wellness.
• Oversee Dietetic Interns and develop meaningful projects that benefit the organization.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to strengthen your skills and grow within the team.
