HR Generalist - Grandville Area

Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for manufacturing and production roles.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, addressing grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, safety regulations (OSHA), and company policies.
• Administer workers' compensation claims and promote a safe working environment in collaboration with operations leadership.
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans for plant employees.
• Coordinate and facilitate essential training programs, including safety, compliance, and skill development for the manufacturing workforce.
• Maintain accurate HR records and manage HRIS data for all manufacturing personnel.

• Demonstrated experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
• In-depth understanding of labor laws and compliance regulations relevant to manufacturing (e.g., OSHA, FLSA).
• Proven ability to manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Experience with full-cycle recruitment for a diverse workforce, including skilled trades and production roles.

• Experience supporting a unionized workforce.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification.
• Proficiency in a second language common in manufacturing environments (e.g., Spanish).
