As an Insurance Agent at the Ben Smith Agency, you’ll play a key role in accelerating growth, delivering customized insurance solutions, and upholding our reputation for excellence. What You’ll Do
  • Develop new business by identifying leads, making proactive outreach, and converting opportunities into long‑term clients
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized insurance reviews and exceptional service
  • Sell and cross‑sell a diverse portfolio of products including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance
  • Hit and exceed performance goals to drive personal and agency growth
  • Leverage CRM tools to manage leads, follow‑ups, renewals, and client data
  • Stay current on product knowledge, state regulations, and Farmers best practices
  • Collaborate in a results‑driven and supportive team environment
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or insurance (1+ years preferred)
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship‑building skills
  • Confidence in making outbound calls and closing deals
  • A growth mindset with a willingness to learn and be coached
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
  • Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license (or ability to obtain promptly)
  • Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
