Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Perform calibration, verification, and adjustment of a wide range of metrology equipment and instrumentation.
- Conduct precise dimensional measurements of manufactured parts and assemblies using various metrology tools and CMMs.
- Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other automated inspection equipment to validate product specifications.
- Analyze measurement data, interpret results, and generate detailed reports on part conformity and quality.
- Maintain accurate calibration records, equipment logs, and measurement documentation in accordance with quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to measurement accuracy and equipment performance.
- Adhere to established quality control procedures, safety protocols, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025) in all metrology activities.
- Proficiency in operating and programming various metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, micrometers, calipers).
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso) and data analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of measurement principles, calibration processes, and quality control standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Metrology, Machining, Mechanical Engineering Technology) or equivalent practical experience.
- Lean/Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) for design review or fixture creation
- Experience with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, R, Python)
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Calibration Technician (CCT)
