RN - Primary Care Rivertown

Day Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday (no weekends or holidays)

A variety of shared responsibilities in a busy practice. Utilizes nursing assessment skills and clinical protocol guidelines in a decision‑making capacity to provide timely and efficient patient care.

• Telephone triage
• Annual wellness visits

• New consult evaluation
• Patient education
• Perform clerical functions, standard duties of a Medical Assistant, and environmental duties to support team objectives

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
• Licensed in the State of Michigan
• 1 year of RN experience required; new graduates must apply to the RN residency program (three times a year: February, July, October)
• Specialty credentialing preferred according to clinical nursing practice specialty area
• For Grand Rapids ADN holders: must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire

New graduate nurses should apply directly to the RN residency or wait list residency. This is only for registered nurses with one year of experience.
