• Carry out a broad range of mechanical maintenance and repair tasks across all plant processing systems and equipment, including planning and organising the details of assigned work.
• Perform routine inspections and lubrication of plant machinery, making adjustments as required to maintain optimal efficiency and performance.
• Undertake risk identification, analysis, and assessments to ensure safe working practices.
• Provide guidance, direction, and instruction to team members as required.
• Participate in HSE inspections, audits, assessments, and meetings, and promptly report any health, safety, or environmental breaches.

• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship, and an HNC/HND qualification in engineering is desirable.
• Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role within a 24/7 heavy process environment, working with gearboxes, conveyors, steam‑raising plant, valves, rotating equipment, and hydraulic systems.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• Demonstrated team leadership ability, strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills, effective planning and organisational capability, and a strong commitment to safety.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
