Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Granger, Indiana – Onsite

About The Company And Opportunity Of Senior Accountant

• Our client is a global organization with a collaborative culture and strong partnership between finance and operations.
• This role offers a dynamic mix of core accounting, process improvement, and cross-department collaboration.
• You’ll join a stable and supportive team, working closely with both U.S. and international leadership.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including collections in coordination with the sales team.
• Work closely with the sales department, who are responsible for sending invoices, to ensure billing accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Lead the month-end close process with a goal of completing it within one week.
• Manage fixed asset tracking, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Act as the point person for audits—coordinate the process, work directly with auditors, and collaborate with the internal CPA for preparation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Experience working with international GAAP standards, especially Germany GAAP, is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
