The Dental Center of Granger is looking for a Dental Assistant in Granger, Indiana to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment.

As a Dental Assistant
, you are an integral part of the care team, providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Compensation for this role is $21.00 – $25.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Support:
    Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
  • Patient Care:
    Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Radiography & Diagnostics:
    Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
  • Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency readiness.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience
  • X-ray certification is required
  • Nitrous oxide certification is highly recommended
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistants are expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
