The Dental Center of Granger is looking for a Dental Assistant in Granger, Indiana to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Type:
Part-time ( Wednesdays 8am-4pm )

Compensation for this role is $21.00 - $25.00 per hour.

• Clinical Support:
  Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care:
  Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics:
  Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety:
  Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
• Assist dentist in emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

• Must have at least 1 year of hands-on experience
• X-Ray certification is required
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
• High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
