Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1445) s role involves assisting guests, processing transactions, and supporting store operations to ensure a positive guest experience.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is required
• Inform guests of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve the guest experience
• Thank guests and express appreciation for choosing to shop at Target
• Explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy
• Explain how to use Target App features, including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, online ordering, and direct guests to enroll and use these features
• Handle returns following store policies and consult Leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with stocking during store hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up orders, and attribute compliance with applicable laws
• Perform other duties based on business needs
