Safety Managers - Steel Mill Maintenance Projects

Overview

Code Red Safety is looking for several safety professionals to oversee maintenance projects at multiple US Steel plants in the Midwest. Projects range in scope and duration with the possibility of working more than one project on a concurrent basis. There will be 2 shifts at these sites, working a 6/10s schedule.
You must have previous safety management experience within a steel mill. The first project will begin at the Granite City, IL plant mid-January.
Only candidates with steel mill safety experience will be considered.

• Have at least 5 years of safety management experience in a steel mill
• Blast furnace experience a plus
• Have one of the following certifications: OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CHST, or similar
• Have a current FA/CPR certification
• Must be able to pass a drug test & background check
