We are currently looking for a Mechanical
Engineer to join our Engineering department located at our office in Granite City, IL
. Our ideal candidate for an Engineer will be someone who has 3 + years of experience as a Mechanical Design-Build Engineer or in a similar role. They will be someone who is a self-starter and will bring a strong sense of leadership, direction, and commitment to our projects.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Engineering design efforts to create construction documents on assigned projects with systems including HVAC, process piping and ductwork.
  • Preparing project specifications for HVAC and piping designs.
  • Conducting site visits to obtain necessary field data for designs.
  • Preparing and reviewing shop drawings and submittals for conformance to construction documents and specifications.
  • Participating in all phases of design and construction for multiple projects.
  • Collaborating with other team members and clients, utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Primary Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (or related engineering degree from an accredited institution).
  • 3+ years of relevant mechanical engineering design or design-build experience with a focus on HVAC and piping systems design, plumbing knowledge is a plus!
  • Proficient in Revit.
  • Proficient knowledge of Trane Trace software.
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well with both a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work within an environment with deadlines, and when tasked with multiple duties your attention to detail stays consistent.
