A sleep technologist works under the general supervision of the Medical Director and reports directly to the Sleep Disorders Center Supervisor to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in‑center and home sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care, and direct patient education. In the temporary absence of the Sleep Disorders Center Supervisor, the technologist assumes responsibility, when requested, for the day‑to‑day clinical oversight of the Sleep Disorders Center with assistance from the Medical Director and the Pulmonary Services Director.

• High School graduate or equivalent (required)

• Certification by a nationally recognized board:
  Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential (required)
• Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification (required)

• The pay range for this position is $25.71 – $38.56 per hour.
