Community Health Communications Specialist

Overview

We seek a specialist to lead the execution of innovative communication campaigns focused on community health, particularly substance use awareness.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of community health campaigns.
  • Collaborate with community partners to promote and disseminate communication campaign materials.
  • Manage program budgets, report outcomes, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
  • Engage in advocacy efforts and uphold the values of trauma‑informed care, respect, and empowerment in all interactions.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience OR a master’s degree with 2+ years of experience in behavioral health, public health, education, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage large projects and collaborate across teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, videoconferencing, and online reporting systems.
  • Valid driver’s license, private insurance, and ability to travel within the service area.
  • Home internet connection.
  • Must be able to obtain DCFS CANTS Child Abuse Clearance.
Benefits

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $44,400 - $50,575 per year. Check out additional benefits here!
